This motorcycle, which is dedicated to the man who made the first space flight in the world history on April 12, 1961, for the first time appeared on the stage of Russian and European custom shows in 2016.

The concept was based on the aerospace theme: the composition of associative series might well include a launch vehicle Vostok, space suit, and first-generation jet MiGs. Its carefully designed body elements along with other original components are made of aluminum — weight reduction is one of the priority tasks when putting an object into the orbit.

This work is by all means a sample of retrofuturism. This is how a “motorcycle of the future” could look like in an illustration to the popular scientific magazine of the Soviet Union “Technika – Molodezhi” in the early ‘60s.

The technical basis of the project was Harley-Davidson Softail with a Twin Cam 88” engine.
