THE ONLY CHANCE FOR IT TO BE UNNOTICED IS THAT YOU LEAVE IT INSIDE YOUR GARAGE.

There’re bound to be things in the spotlight. Sincere apologies, but if by any chance you’re an introvert person, this story is not for you at all. Just forget it and please don’t read any further.

This text is about another work from the ShifCustom workshop, which is a trike R 18 / 3R built on the base of the BMW R 18 cruiser, as you may probably guess not only from its name.

Everything here is imbued with the spirit of BMW. This is not just a tribute, think bigger: this machine in front of you is a hymn to the Bavarian brand embodied in metal. Yes, it’s essentially a balanced mix of the modern technical part of the R 18 model and the design elements of the legendary BMW 328 roadster from the 1930s. Its authentic look is even more enhanced by the use of aluminum as an “interstellar” material of that time to form the body shapes and surfaces. The bodywork technologies are also of that time — a hundred years ago.

It is worth noting that driving performance is by no means sacrificed for spectacular appearance, and one can’t say for sure which will be more impressive. In many ways this is thanks to the front double wishbone suspension manufactured by ShifCustom. The trike not only “steers its course” — it glues to the trajectory (though not quite literally, it can speed up like mad!).

It’s hardly necessary to describe the appearance in this case. Those who have eyes, they will see it.
